We're talking all the time about the leverage that Putin has thanks to his ability to cut off Europe's gas supply. It's the same situation with China, India and water. Something like 800 million Indians depend on the water from the Ganges and the Brahmaputra. Both rivers, just like the Mekong and Irrawaddy which supply water to South East Asia, have their source on the Tibetan plateau. Guess why China has been and still is so gung-ho about controlling Tibet.

Nah he will not answer but I think extreme groups are just being used like ISIS was back in Syria. People with real power are not Nazis but their underlings are or in this case his underlings are his masters and the poor dude has no choice but to follow their orders. I think the main boss here is someone else and Zelensky and Ukraine is suffering under this corruption. And then we have Putin who made this situation even worse when he invaded this corrupted mess... I feel deeply sorry for Ukraine. Just like Afghanistan its being sandwiched by all sides.

I think the reason the Russians did a U-turn in the north is because they saw the resistance and understood that taking and ruling a hostile populace would be too costly and a miscalculation. I think they are wisely focusing on areas that saw pro-Russian support pre war with large swaths of ethnic Russians. It's hard to tell atm, but I don't think they push into Odessa and completely cut off Ukraine from the Black Sea, but thinking logically is they will want a land corridor between Crimea and the Donbass, so basically that strip along the Azov sea which is Zaporizhzhia oblast won't be given back nor are there any signs of Russians falling back from those positions like in the north. My guess is Kherson as westernmost point connects to Donbass. Dnipropetrovsk Oblast might be the boundary IMO which probably remains Ukrainian. Or they could basically settle for just the Donbass when it's all said and done and use those other regions as bargaining chips.

It's a sad case really...........I understand your view point. But after WW2 China which is still the West Staunch allies, the world didn't rectify the Tibetan or Xinjiang issue.

Ah, I didn't know you were an insider. We agree then on all points in principle. I think his big boss was some media mogul oligarch who let USA influence Ukrainian politics as they pleased through him. Then, according to their strategical plans an, invasion by Putin would have been the most stupid, unadvantageous thing to happen. Then Putler happened and we're here, all because of Nato vs Russia geopolitical d*** measuring contest. And yes, I'm sorry for the ordinary Ukrainian population the most.
