I do think Bernie brings some good points against the for profit healthcare industry. Something does have to change if we want to have any chance at an affordable.

Both the Democrats and Republicans need to confront the fact how outrageously expensive our system is. The first step of healthcare reform imo should be to make prices more affordable instead of getting everyone insured.

I don't know what the answer is tbh. Margin caps on healthcare related companies maybe? I know they already promised not to raise prices on certain drugs by no more than 5%/year but maybe that's not enough? For old drugs, maybe price hikes should be inflation sticky instead of a flat 5%?
