a good father doesnt let his son make the same mistakes he did just because he made them. bringing up things americans are against and acknowledge as mistakes is always a silly tactic that we see too often in pard.
my bad my bad. But to use that analogy, Say the father is kicking the family dog. While the whole family might give out to the father, if the father still kicks the dog and there is no evidence to suggest he stopped and wont do it again, he is a hypocrite to give out to the son when he discovered his son also kicking dogs. If the family are no longer giving out to the father for kicking the dog then they are also complicit. The father reminding the son not to kick dogs just because the son is now also sleeping with the neighbor is lame.
Gitmo was opened in 2002 and is still open therefore its not a historic non issue but rather one conveniently forgotten. ie. dad is still kicking the dog.
Back to the analogy: better to give out to the son for his mistakes when they occur, for the father to stop making mistakes himself, then to ground the son for those pre-existing mistakes just because he also found the used condoms in his sons bedroom.

I can assure you at the moment India will not lean on USA side.
the expression "lean on" infers that 1 party will put pressure on the other. just clarifying.

Worry about Le Pen becoming your president who wants closer ties between Nato and Russia
I almost fell of my chair.
From what I read it looks like Le Pen has once again failed in her endeavor, else am I wrong? happy to be corrected on this. for sure if she won it would change some things in france.
