Biden and his ilk spent the last few years vilifying Modi while Trump built bonds with him. I half expected Trump to hold a rally in Mumbai and shout 'jai shri ram'. At least Biden can meet with them, when the KSA and Dubai wasn't bothering to pick up the phone. If Biden was a skillful negotiator he could maybe get some token concessions from India to save face even if they're going to lap up the cheap Russian gas unchecked, same as the EU has done. IE nothing, but dressed up for the public. But right now I was more worried Biden was going to forget where he was and challenge Modi to a pushup contest
