They've made their own choices, Russia didn't interefere, now they are dealing with consequences and military intervention. Why not to have Afghanistan or Syria next to Poland? Christian refugees and terrorists are no better than Muslim ones, just a little bit hard to recognize :) Not to mention they worship Bandera, enjoy.

Sorry to say that but your country (Russia) govs are untrustworthy liars, first they say "Ukraine Independent, can join NATO, we wont interfere", then they change their mind and attack Ukraine anyway.
Not cool. One cannot trust any word they say.

Lavrov: Russia Won't Interfere In Ukraine

19 years ago Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Russia will respect Ukraine's sovereignty.
He said Ukraine and Georgia should make their own choices concerning joining the European Union and NATO, and that Russia will respect their respective choices.
He is still Russia FM, when did he change his mind?
Is it ok for Russia to change their mind at will?

people changing their position based on circumstances is perfectly normal. speaking of positions, last month you said:

Im all in for peace between Ukraine and Russia, but Ukrainians need a permanent peace, not a caese fire. Caese fire benefits Russia more, as it gives Russia time to rebuild their army.

This month Putin said the same thing:

Reuters: Russian President Vladimir Putin has recently expressed that Russia is not seeking a temporary ceasefire in Ukraine but aims for a long-lasting peace. He emphasized that a mere truce could allow Ukraine to regroup and rearm, potentially prolonging the conflict. During a four-hour Q&A session, Putin stated that Russia is ready to negotiate without preconditions, highlighting the need for a durable peace agreement. He also mentioned that Russia's position has strengthened since the invasion began in 2022, with ongoing advancements on the front lines. Putin's stance suggests that Russia believes it can achieve its objectives through continued military efforts, rather than through immediate peace talks. This perspective aligns with his assertion that Russia is not in a hurry to end the war and is prepared to outlast Ukrainian and Western resolve.

I have mulled over this post of yours (and previous posts) and I am not sure what to make of your position as it makes no logical sense.

Sorry to say but if you count on any country's officials to say truth then you are naive, if not to say more.

A small insight into proportion of casualties. RU and UA just had a swap of bodies on Friday that wasnt announced much. Russia gave up the remains of 503 Ukrainian soldiers, Ukraine gave up the remains of 43 Russian soldiers. The UA dead mostly from Donetsk

One thing i would add though, the Russians are moving forward across southern Donetsk, so they are probably recovering way more bodies, both their own and Ukrainians. TBH i doubt true losses are that lobsided, the Russians I'm sure are taking a lot of casualties, as usually is the case of armies that push forward vs entrenched defenders.

Putin wants Kyiv to stay in Russia Zone of influence.
What can Putin give in return?
He doesnt want to give much, so he makes a promise that he will leave Ukrainians alone.
Such a promise costs him nothing, because he can break it anytime in a future.

Russia hasn’t gotten beyond their imperialism, which has been ever present for more than a thousand years. They tried really really hard to kill all their indigenous people (still trying). The Ukrainians are just another group they want to eliminate.

For all the evil hitler did, at least the nazis kept track of how many people they murdered. The Russians purposefully cover up their history of genocide

well done, you fit hitler, imperialism and indigenous populations, thats a trifecta of sensitive words! The only problem here is that hitler was European, not Russian, you know, from Germany ? From a historical standpoint Russia has nothing on US and English imperialism and well, in terms of indigenous populations your on shaky ground when one considers the fate of the indians. you know, that race of people that used to exist ?

Outspoken MP Mariana Bezuhla said earlier today that the employees of Deep State, Ukraine’s war mapping service, are facing military draft. She framed it as an attempt by commander-in-chief Syrsky to shut down their project.

Deep State hasn’t been posting updates for the last two days and now they appear to confirm the news in what sounds like a farewell letter, which is accusing Syrsky of trying to suppress “the truth”.
