Your estimation of what's earned is irrelevant. Meaningful debate only happens when the participants respect each other, even if only enough to observe proper decorum. If you or anyone else is unwilling to meet the most basic level of respect then why are you posting in a forum devoted to Political and Religious Debate?

there's a very good reason that posters like me or NAW will post paragraph long responses with well sourced info to some users and shitpost calling an idiot a mall cop in back to back posts.

some users have a documented history of not only acting in good faith but also responding in earnest and detail when you ask them questions.

Duck comes into threads just to post shit like "typical leftie scum antifa lovers, cowards pussies lol i'd beat them up in a fight", then if u ask him to engage he calls u a pussy and shit posts a few times more before doing his rounds to Cinnabon and back.

I regularly have good and respectful discussions with dozens of users.

There's a whole spectrum of respect from near total with snipa, skinned, tcock, moderate with black, and absolutely zero with Bogie void Cam yourself and duck.

Even so, I regularly give those I have no respect for opportunities to engage honestly and earn some back.

I owe you nothing you haven't earned, and that includes respect.

My respect for somebody is mostly premised on how honest they are. Void and Bogie have actively lied to my face and others multiple times so I doubt they'll ever earn the respect of most users back. You could still make a turnaround though
