We all read the transcript of the 2nd phone call. I believe the link for that is posted in this topic. There was nothing wrong in the 2nd phone call either. Zelensky himself said he felt no pressure.

just pretend for one second we lived in the real world. what do you think zelensky would say IF he felt pressured? you don't even have to believe it, just IMAGINE it... what would he say and why?

there was talk about how Trump was hinting at giving Zelensky the WH visit he was craving during their 2nd phone call from I think July, the one in which Trump asked him about investigations into the Bidens. pundits were spinning this second phone call into the direction that "Trump used the WH visit as a carrot to goad Zelensky into doing what Trump wants". the fact that Trump offered Zelensky this visit during their first call with no strings attached weakens this narrative substantially.

Oh, there was a lot of shady stuff going on between Trump and Ukraine, dont get me wrong. As I said before, I support the impeachment inquiry because there is enough evidence to warrant such an investigation into the case.
However, this doesnt mean that every angle of attack by Democrats or the media is worthwhile, and I will keep pointing it out when a particular accusation or narrative doesnt add up.

And as I said about 10 pages ago, the hearings from this week were just the prelude anyway. The real crux will be Sondland's and perhaps Mulvaney's testimony. It's still funny to see how the TDS crowd is jumping onto this week's ancillary witnesses and immediately has to give in to the urge to spin their testimony as a bombshell revelation. Even more funny when I get called a cultist just because I'm pointing this out.

Fine, I'll give ya that. Forget Zelensky saying he didn't feel pressured.
But using that same logic for the 2nd phone call transcript and trying to say Zelensky "felt" that he wouldn't get the money if he didn't agree to investigate Biden, is ludicrous.

First off, we already know, Zelensky, at the time of the 2nd phone call, didn't even know about the money.

There is still ZERO proof that Trump held up the money to force Zelensky to agree to investigate. Further, I can't for the life of me, understand why no one WANTS to investigate the Bidens and the removal of Skokin, where the money WAS held over the Ukrainian presidents head.

There is NO logic in that, whatsoever. Biden admitted, on tape, that he did it. Yovanovitch also said he did it, in the Friday hearing. Yet here we are, trying to impeach Trump for something he didn't do, while ignoring the fact that Biden DID do it.

Not only that, but the MSM is ramping up their support for Trump's impeachment as well as NOT publishing the facts from the hearings.













Looks like and open and shut case to me.

wait what? if anything, it rather supports the theory that trump made the visit he promised back in april contingent on zelensky investigating biden, seeing as it was not arranged - neither between their calls, nor after the second one...

of course that alone is not hard proof, but how you come to the conclusion that this FACT is somehow exculpatory evidence, is really beyond me...

Trump clearly stated in the first phone call, that Zelensky was welcome in the WH w/e he got "set up over there". In other words, at Zelensky's convenience.
