Discussions over sending French and British troops to Ukraine reignited
With the prospect of American disengagement from Kyiv following Donald Trump's return to the White House, Paris and London are not ruling out leading a military coalition in Ukraine.

It would have been better to do so when the war started. I don't think British or French army would fare any better in the modern drone war with their outdated tactics than the first wave of the Ukrainian army. If anything, they'll be glorified sitting ducks.
Another conclusion, Ukraine might be about to collapse for them to consider taking that step.

6 MIRVs each sporting 6 sub munitions

That's a lot of shovels per missile

Ukraine’s 3rd detached assault brigade (run by the political leadership of Azov Movement) has launched a commercial school training civilians as drone operators in three Ukrainian cities. The school is called Killhouse and the basic course costs around 185 euro.

The future of the global mercenary market and organized crime in Europe is shaping before our eyes.

There's not much talk about this now, but I can guarantee when it starts biting us in the face like an Xenomorph from Alien, the Very Serious People of Mass Media and government NPCs will claim that nobody could have seen it coming and it's nothing to do with them.

Its an entirely predictable future. Even my gramps when he first saw drones in person was asking the rhetorical question of what's going to happen when the bad guys get these.
There will be a flood of small arms and equipment into black markets after this war, there will be rocket launchers and grenades and rifles and armored vehicles and so on all aplenty, but honestly, we've long since flooded africa with that anyway.
The huge supply of weaponized drones going into the hands of extremists, on the black market, easily usable even by untrained terrorists and carrying the most effective weapons tech of the 21st century so far?

We've already see a handful of small time assassination attempts or minor terror attacks with drones. The next 10 years will see a number of mass casualty events caused by drone bombs, its virtually guaranteed. And frankly that was going to happen either way, but we just accelerated it bigly

Scary future when the Al-Qaeda types will be able to kill a bunch of people at a concert of destroy a commercial plane on the tarmac with a 10-20k drone. I mean it completely invalidates so much of our current conventional security apparatus.

Hopefully, they might be terrified of the blowback after Afghanistran.

Osama hid in another country, and he was still hunted down. I think any newcomers will think twice before waking a sleeping dragon.

We can scare country actors. I.e. Russia or Iran or NK, to some extent, but you can't scare the zealots. If these guys are willing to strap C4 to themselves or their groin, I'm sure they will be more than willing to sit 3 miles from an airport and fuck up a 50 million dollar commercial Boeing plane using a joystick.

Toss the joystick into a river and godspeed tracing this to some under the radar rando
