Well, most Poles would not accept Poland joining Ukraine in the war. Me neither. I feel bad for poor Ukrainian people, but giving my life to help them is too much. We are not in an official defensive alliance with Ukraine after all.

Also many Poles think that since we are in NATO we dont need to think too much about military.
Government spends a lot of money on the military, but its true that average Smith dont think about it, and is not very serious.
So its good we have a smart government, that knows that NATO is cool but we need our own military too :)

Of course technically possible that some people from Poland form or join a gang to smuggle people to western Europe, just like it could be in any other country, but its not common for sure, and it costs us a lot of money to defend our border from the immigrants that Putin keeps throwing to our side.

There are nine people suspected in a trial, six of them have polish sounding names.
They have taken 100k USD in bribes, its peanuts.
these 360 people were legal work migrants, and the bribes were only to speed up procedures / avoid queues.
So its not like a lot of harm was done really.

Whatever that is reported is minimal to give the public a responsible response.
If you think it is only 100k USD in bribes, I think you do not understand how things works.

Although Poland have come a long way in governance, it is not exactly transparent ( To be fair, most countries are like that too. ) But Poland is far from being a minimal corrupted country.
