oh i agree any stimulus now is better than nothing. never thought it wise that the government was ordering shutdowns and not providing consistent aid. of course ive long argued for emergency govt spending to be only be on that, the emergency, but no matter who is in charge 1/3+ of any proposed spending is completely unrelated.
the house is too busy wanting to breakup apple and google anyway, clearly the much more pressing matters at hand.
it should be obvious from the fact that they're stacking their proposals with poison pills that the Dems arent actually interested in cutting a deal or passing another round of stimulus before the election. they know that getting as much money as possible into the people's pockets would be politically advantageous for Trump. people hurting for money also hurts him and the entire GOP.
of course Trump took the bait and just blew the negotiations up without proper messaging, so that the public is now gonna put all the blame on him. played like a fiddle.
