Probably would. They lose either way, but they could definitely prolong their fight against us through unconventional warfare.

With what weapons?

They supposedly have small arsenals scattered all around the country.

They are well prepared for an invasion, and the mountainous terrain combined with the thousands of tunnels and hideouts makes it perfect for a guerrilla warfare. Defeating them would take a long, long time.

The whole point of guerrilla warfare is that you don't need much in terms of weaponry to be capable.

I'm not convinced the populace of NK would be capable of even using them.



Yeah but the populace of NK isn't trained as far as I know, so they wouldn't even really be able to effectively use it.

I'd expect that the population would learn something during the 10 year long mandatory military conscription (5 for women).

Find out where the tunnels are then drop big ass bombs on em ez t4t

The tunnels are all over the place. Also, bomb a tunnel or hideout only to realize it also served as storage for biological/chemical/nuclear weapons and you have yourself a huge problem.

The fact that it will be almost impossible to find out where are all of the WMD locations, and that it's suspected that they are pretty well distributed around the nation, is going to deter the abuse of airstrikes. If a war were to break out (which I'm sure it won't), it would for the most part be a painfully slow invasion by land.
