Vibe remains the same. Russia fucked up their invasion even with overwhelming odds, and while the Russian ruble crumbles their military remains entrenched in a war trading massive amounts of ordinary lives for a destroyed slither of the continents poorest nation.

Mission accomplished

1) Russia got the upper hand against overwhelming odds as puppet regime in Ukraine got a blank check for any weapons they wanted.

2) Russian rouble is completely unphased and economy doing relatively well, while almost all EU countries that supported this war against Russia are in recession. Read the latest Draghi report or this 30 minutes read summary: https://www.intellinews.com/long-read-europe-has-lost-its-competitive-edge-335073/

3) Russian losses (estimated to be 70k KIA) are less than Ukranian losses (which are estimated to be north of 500K KIA) which is unprecedented given Russia is an attacking force.

4) Russia has already acquired the wealthiest regions of Ukraine (with the exception of Kiev) and is making slow and creeping, but unstoppable progress the longer this goes on.

A somber reminder what our Scottish Nazi lover here supports:

Never forget. Never forgive.

On a more general note: isn't it astonishing how the discussions in this thread have barely shifted from where they were a year ago? Back then, we also had one side loudly proclaiming that "Russia will run out of missiles any day now" and the other side loudly proclaiming "Ukraine will run out of manpower any day now".

At the end of the day, we're all just armchair wannabe experts filtering information according to our respective biases and preconceptions. Doesn't mean that we're completely clueless, but I think it's simply impossible to accurately answers questions like "when will Russia's soviet-era stockpiles run dry" or "when will Ukraine's demographic drain become existential" with our modest means and limited time.

I still remember ofthevoid and the shill having a wank over the chechens being sent into the fray in March 2022 who were totally badass and going to end the war after the VDV failed to take Kyiv.

I don't know about you, but it seems very clear to me that the pro-Russia posters have been more prone to hyperbolic, and often just objectively incorrect, statements. Meanwhile, pro-Ukrainian posters have been much more adept at separating facts from their feelings. That has something to do with (most) right wingers feeling Putin is fighting the woke agenda and preserving traditional Christian values; in contrast to (most) left wingers who want to help Ukraine because they were attacked and asked for our help, rather than having an affinity for Zelensky or even Ukraine itself.

I also remember how Goom was dropping the term "corpsicle" on a near-daily basis during the winter of 2022/23.

But I still gotta disagree with the notion that one side is fundamentally more hyperbolic than the other. Many pro-Ukraine posters have repeatedly banked on Russia finally being slowed down by the sanctions, or finally running out of guided missiles, and so far, those predictions have all been wrong as well. In the same vein, it is simply disingenuous to bring up Russia's failures from early 2022 to argue that the current military situation is still a disaster for Russia.

Is there a single example of a Westerner that is so zealously pro-Russia that they are an utterly unhinged lunatic? Attempted murderer Ryan Routh is a prominent example of a pro-Ukraine whackjob and they are all over the internet - yet the only rabidly pro-Russia people are Russians themselves (understandable). Us Western guys who see all this as absurd, that Ukraine has quite literally a 0% chance of winning, are simply neutral unbiased observers. Arms can be restocked, men can't. Russia is an industrial powerhouse that can churn out more weapons faster than the West can, and it's clear that the West will not put troops on the ground and provoke a nuclear war.

As a non partisan, Russia won big. All first world countries amassed massive amount of debts supporting Ukraine instead of investing that money on their own infrastructure while Ukraine is losing more and more territory to an outdated army. It'll be Middle east all over again where we lost massive amount of money and looking like idiots.

Meanwhile, India sending a massive amount of military aged men all across first world countries putting our infrastructure in shamble even more while corporations make record profits hiring those TFW. I have nothing against gamer as i do partake in the hobby 2-3 hours a week but mate, life happen outside chaos sanctuary. At some point you'll have to stop being brainwashed by corporate outlets and live in the real world with an actual idea of what's what.

Like they did with Covid ''2 weeks to flatten the curve'' and all the shit they said against people who didn't take the jab. It was hilarious to watch these few years unfold. If you go back to these people post history during those time you can visualize autism.
