these russian trolls aren't assigned to a single forum, Putin didn't identify PARD as a place of influence.

D2jsp still ranks on top 10 forums articles, from there its easy to see it has a political subforum. so you mix it into your rotation of subredits, facebook, twitter, etc. as well as many other forums.

I don’t really think he’s an actual paid troll lol. This sub is a joke. Most of us are older leftover d2 players that just stuck around. If I was a troll boss I’d deff be more economical with my deployment. Focus on platforms like Twitter, FB, tik-took, whatever else based on demographics and target audience groups. Literally no one here shifts in their views based on another persons arguments, we just bounce our takes of the world off each other.

then you should research how the strategy works. russian troll farms in 2016 infiltrated anything they could, facebook groups with as little as 20 members for example.

they're planting seeds with a shotgun, not precision snipers. the strategy to go as far and wide as possible is helped by feeding info to small groups, not posting them in a subredit with 100k members where they get quickly debunked. insurgency never starts with some guy on a soap box in front of thousands.

The shotgun is the platforms I mentioned tho which the fb groups are a part of. Why target 20-30 regular degens on this sub? I think the average person posting here is infinitely harder to sway versus some simp casual liking or posting on social media. In close to 10 years here I honestly can’t think of a single thing that I can point to and say okay that changed my outlook fundamentally on some political or social issue. We’re all pretty set at this point, maybe it would of been different when we were 17 year olds idk.

Also, d2jsp might lowkey be a more influential place than many think. Pretty much everyone on d2jsp was between 8 and 25 in 2002, and thus is between 28 and 45 years old today. The skew is also male, tech- and numbers-affine. It wouldn't surprise me the least if the older d2jsp users were a group of above average education and professional success.

then multiply that by dozens of boards, dozens of invite only facebook groups for patriots that have 20-30 members, small sub count subredits, media site comment sections, etc.

i post 10+ times a day more or less on d2jsp at my job where i get more work done than anyone else who works in this company. if i was paid 8 hours just to spread bullshit i could be multi tabbing on 50 different boards right now. why not post in PARD? because of no one listens to him? no one listens to the russian trolls almost anywhere they post, that's fine, they're fishing with 500 lines out of 1 boat.
