They need the 2/3 to trigger new elections... Corbyn is under pressure right now.
Exploring the options the best way for him is to continue to block everything... ^_^

but he said this:

So he could just pretends he's ok, trying to grab more time.

Smart by Corbyn. At the moment, he'd get destroyed in a general election. By saying "we only support a general election if no deal is taken off the table", he can justify blocking it and delaying everything to his base and the media, knowing full well that Johnson would hemorrhage votes like crazy to the Brexit Party if he accepted taking no deal off the table.

Basically, Corbyn is passing the buck to Johnson, which is really smart for himself. Unfortunately, what is good for Corbyn's personal ambitions is bad for the country.

If frenchie blocks the extension like he said he would, you'd see just how magically fast these remain tossers can read. Wouldn't need months to pass the bill then. :D

You should support Corbyn instead of blaming the frenchie; he simply want to ensure your country will not crash into a no-deal, which could be so much detrimental to the poor & workers.
So let's rot.

Seems Corbyn is a fair protection against populism & rigged elections :

'Run and hide'

Speaking in the Commons, Mr Johnson said Labour was the only main opposition party scared of an election, telling Mr Corbyn that he "can run but he cannot hide" from the electorate.

But in response, Mr Corbyn said he did not trust Mr Johnson and he would not agree to a poll until the prospect of a no-deal exit had been definitively ruled out.
"Today he wants an election and his bill - not with our endorsement. How can we trust him that he will stick to that date?"
He said there had not been a December election since 1923 and holding it then risked "disenfranchising" students, many of whom would have left for the Christmas holidays.

The only reason corbyn doesn't want an election is because he will lose it, badly. They've been flip flopping and fence sitting for the last 3 years, they have no ideas that hold any weight whatsoever.

Anyone even almost believing different is deluded beyond belief.

You are right it's playing against them, because people start to be pissed off

https://whatukthinks.org/eu/questions/do-you-think-the-government-or-the-opposition-parties-are-most-responsible-for-the-deadlock-on-brexit/

And it's getting better for him

https://whatukthinks.org/eu/questions/how-much-if-at-all-do-you-trust-boris-johnson-to-make-the-right-decisions-on-the-issue-of-brexit/

but well:

https://whatukthinks.org/eu/questions/would-you-prefer-britain-to-leave-the-eu-without-a-deal-to-leave-on-the-negotiated-johnson-terms-to-leave-with-a-soft-brexit-deal-or-to-remain-in-the-eu/

ahah. ahahahah.

MPs reject 12 December election plan

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-50213548

So let's clearly validate the new agreement then, should not be a problem isn't it ?

^^

He's scarily correct in pointing out that Johnson is past wanting a no-deal. Run you rebel voters !! This dude just became May2.0 !! ;)

Don't be worried too much though, it's gonna be impossible to dictate campaign subjects for other parties in elections.

At the end of the day, it imho is only a question of time until Corbyn is replaced as Labour leader by Keir Starmer.

So finally there will be elections.

Michel Barnier: "Nobody in Europe wants to prevent Brexit" & London "will have to respect a level playing field*".

*Here i'm curious to know how it will end.
