Over here we're currently working on integrating lots of smarter workflow solutions. Things like parametric designs or automated modeling steps. A lot of calculating work has already disappeared.

Some work will remain (translating customer needs to requirements, making designs pretty etc) but a lot of hours are gonna be gone.



Probably 5-10 years. Atm it's still cheaper to use people. A lot of the work is already automated though, and they can use the bottom of the barrel of employees without much trouble (only danger is theft really).

They have full automation for large parcels pretty much.

Small packages is way more difficult due to robots still being finicky with the amount of different shapes and sizes of items that need to go in a box. Orderpickers are still worth it for that, but just that.

Stalling stimulus is almost certainly going to hurt his numbers even more. Does anyone really think the Democrats won't give them stimulus after the election if they get a big blue wave?
