Halfway hope a conflict breaks out in another year to year and a half or so when I've enlisted and finished Ranger School for the Army.

I'd rather be fighting a conventional war than a mostly unconventional war (Iraq/Afghanistan) against the Taliban and other snackbar groups.

Would much prefer to engage an enemy directly a majority of the time than have to deal with guerilla style attacks. Let's also not forget IEDs. Fuck those things.

I hope it doesn't come to any of that.
