India is neither aligned with the West nor with the neo-Axis. They are mostly doing their own thing and playing both sides against one another. Here, I would again say that them becoming more assertive on the international stage was always inevitable, considering their growth and their sheer size.

The big ticket is the f16 transfer. 20 from the states combined with the 60ish(?) they already have could theoretically shift the balance of power in the air. Ukraine could give itself some breathing room from getting fab'd into oblivion.

So, assuming that all ukranian pilots are now trained and that Ukraine has the runways required to fly these (either in Latvia or poland) do you think putin will deliver on attacking these bases?

Based on everything coming ukraines way, the f16s are the only thing that might put the Russians on the back foot. Extra stormshadows and Patriot systems aren't gona stop Russian glide bombs

- New AA is here to stop more drones & ballistic missiles and -eventually?- pushing away fighters carrying guided bombs getting too close
- Western allowance missiles deeper in russian territory (ie: airbases)
- Once it's cleaned a bit F16s & other fighters could, themselves, start to drop flying bombs on the face of russians
