Both sides have thousands of nuclear warheads and only a dozen need to get through to cause overwhelming devastation, so any strategy which hinges on a bet that you'll manage to disable or intercept the other side's nukes is extremely risky. Both sides are REALLY hesitant to pull the trigger on nuclear escalation, and for damn good reason. Essentially, nobody is willing to go there over minor incidents.

Certainly, but if the ability to disarm is as rapid, total, and unstoppable as has been reported by military personnel then it makes me wonder whether it matters much at all how large the nuclear arsenal is. It's one of the more concerning aspects of the UAP phenomenon, given that there have been examples of this taking place going back to the 1960s such as the incident at Malmstrom Airforce Base where all of the nuclear warheads were made temporarily inoperable at the same time that personnel reported a UAP over the base.
"Expert" which was really one said something clear that anyone will understand: Putin will be stopped by his own circle if they realize they will all die. He would also probably be instantly killed or jailed (or two weeks after that).
I would add that:
- Russian elite has of its families, children, in western countries... Meaning that even a "warning shot" is a terrible idea.
- Moscow urban area is the most populated area in Europe and globally the whole western Russia density is ridiculously high in comparison with the rest of the territory: Russia is as much vulnerable than a regular, small, country in this regard.
