European court: Evidence Russia comitted 'multiple' human rights violations in Crimea

Constantly defending war criminals is not healthy.

Let me get this right - you are accusing people of being born in Crimea? Where do you want them to go?

Nobody was nuked yet despite clear crossing of all possible nuclear red lines (striking Russian territory and infrastructure, striking Russian NUCLEAR deterrence capabilities with NATO provided tech, shelling of Energodar nuclear plant).

I'm no expert on the matter, but afaik, the Russian nuclear doctrine only allows the use of nukes to respond to existentially threatening attacks on Russia.

The Enerhodar nuclear plant is located smack bang in the middle of Ukraine and illegally occupied by Russia. It's surely not wise for either side to shell this plant, but to suggest that attacking it would justify a Russian nuclear first strike is ludicrous.

I'm actually interested in whether MAD is still a real capability given that there have been reported incidences both in the US and The USSR/Russia of UAPs disabling nuclear arsenals.

Both sides have thousands of nuclear warheads and only a dozen need to get through to cause overwhelming devastation, so any strategy which hinges on a bet that you'll manage to disable or intercept the other side's nukes is extremely risky. Both sides are REALLY hesitant to pull the trigger on nuclear escalation, and for damn good reason. Essentially, nobody is willing to go there over minor incidents.

by that same token we'd have to imagine a scenario where the US, Russia, or both decide to fire off their entire arsenal (or even a large portion) all at once.

which is like us talking about how a cop might shoot an unarmed man, then someone brings up 50 cops all shooting the man with 500 rounds each from machine guns.

Certainly, but if the ability to disarm is as rapid, total, and unstoppable as has been reported by military personnel then it makes me wonder whether it matters much at all how large the nuclear arsenal is. It's one of the more concerning aspects of the UAP phenomenon, given that there have been examples of this taking place going back to the 1960s such as the incident at Malmstrom Airforce Base where all of the nuclear warheads were made temporarily inoperable at the same time that personnel reported a UAP over the base.

"Expert" which was really one said something clear that anyone will understand: Putin will be stopped by his own circle if they realize they will all die. He would also probably be instantly killed or jailed (or two weeks after that).

I would add that:

- Russian elite has of its families, children, in western countries... Meaning that even a "warning shot" is a terrible idea.

- Moscow urban area is the most populated area in Europe and globally the whole western Russia density is ridiculously high in comparison with the rest of the territory: Russia is as much vulnerable than a regular, small, country in this regard.
