You claimed that Russia is still a communist country today, yet continuously fail to name any genuinely communist - as opposed to merely authoritarian - policy still in effect in the country.




Iirc, the Russians themselves initially claimed that the civilians were hurt by debris from an approaching Ukrainian missile or drone which was taken down by Sewastopol's anti-air, and only later changed the narrative to "the bloodthirsty regime in Kyiv used cluster munition on peaceful beachgoers!!!!11"

First messages were from the governor of Sevastopol who correctly mentioned rockets are incoming and asked citizens not to be in the open, messages from 11:21, message unedited.

11:47 he says all missiles were intercepted, uchkuevka beach hit by debris, message unedited.

13:38 clarification that a hundred+ were hurt by debris of a ballistic missile carrying cluster warhead, message is edited.

No change of narrative. Ukranians + US launched 5 missiles, 4 were intercepted in a safe zone, 1 managed to partially get through and hundreds were hurt.

As mentioned above, whoever sent those missiles hurtling at a city full of civilians (Sevastopol is 500k citizens) bears full responsibility for this war crime. Imagine the suffering those rockets could cause if they were not intercepted.

Civilian objects should not be attacked by ballistic missiles with cluster warheads. End of story.

Totally avoidable situation. How to avoid such a situation?
Don't illegally annex territory and or launch wars against neighbouring states.

Civilian casualties happen in war. Don't launch wars. Don't lose civilians.

Proof the target was the beach full of civilians? Or that's just useful assumption and conjecture?
I saw the exact same situation portrayed as Russian anti air having destroyed the incoming ATACM.

Also heard that scenario is not the common outcome. ATACM is proving more than capable at circumventing Russias S400 battery's.
