I already sourced the reports that Ukraine is mining its border with Romania along the Tisa river in order to prevent Ukrainian men from escaping, there was footage a few days ago of border guards finding a Ukrainian civilian with legs blown off from a land mine. On the opposite side of the country of the front lines.
What I appreciate is that Google's AI is so virgin it hasn't been completely tainted by its operator's biases and filters and actually summarizes Sputnik, Telegram and TASS sources on subjects without you explicitly requesting them.
Furthermore, there's also a video from a week ago purporting to show the border guards planting the land mines. And the NAFO response has just been to claim the videos were elaborate fakes set up by Russian disinformation (oh boy where have I heard this before)
The Ukrainian border guard agency hasn't explicitly confirmed their use of land mines, but does claim at least 45 people died so far this year on the Tisza river

Ukraine has thousands of kilometers of land borders to its western and southern neighbors; I don't see how mining up one specific place is supposed to make a noticeable difference in the ability of draft-dodgers to flee the country. At least from a rational perspective, it doesn't really make sense.
