The greatest societies are the ones with the greatest cohesion. Humans as a species are not defined by the success of the individual. Even the most talented individual can't do shit alone. It's when we all band together that we accomplish great things. That's why no company that revolutionizes the world ever has a single employee. It's always thousands.

What are great things to you?

Go to space?
Control the world to have more factories/more slaves/more useless things being produced?

We can't even turn all these 3rd world countries into first world countries where people don't shit on the side of the road or the beach.

I could live without it. Did it for most my youth. Just a guilty pleasure of mine to soak up more knowledge and make a good side hustle.

Most of the time, i'm outside with the laptop or the phone.

One day, get yourself a cabin in the wood for a season and supply yourself with your skillset (You know how to grow and take care of livestock).

It's day and night compared to living in the city. People are literally stupid AF nowadays. The average IQ is so fucking low because all people do = eat fastfood/watch tv/spend their life on their devices/sleep/work their whole life for paper with ink on it to buy more useless shit to put their mind away from their slave life /repeat.

yes but those tools have helped the 3rd world more in the last few decades than anything else. progress isn't overnight but for the first time we're making actual progress in many places. access to information on the scale of Google is a monumental achievement for mankind. i owe most of what i know about my survival skillset to Youtube. public libraries are almost unnecessary at this point. do it yourself books are as well.

i replaced an entire power window assembly in my own car despite never having worked on one before.

You know what would do that exact same goal but way faster? Making sure there's no billionaire , trillionaire and people who can literally buy countries and make sure all countries have adequate schooling system/medical facilities and the resources to learn from the most advanced countries to catch up.

That money could be used where people need it the most in their respective countries.

When you see a yacht at a port, that's hundreds/thousands of vets off the streets or homeless off the streets.

I could go on and on to tell you why it's a great thing (The internet to help 3rd world countries) BUT the main problem is more simple than lack of knowledges.

Corruption, badly spent $ and all that shit is worst. Just look at Venezuela for example. They are rich (Resources) but corruption+socialism destroyed their countries.

YET it's happening instead of ALL Together fixing their mess with recipe that actually works.

But to conclude your point of internet being great information. Yes, 200%. It's what i mostly do online. Either flip $ or learn something.

Problem is, we're a very low % of people who use the internet for that. Most people just use it for an instant source of dopamine.

u have a strange mix of wanting people to be self reliant, while also denying the power of the internet to make people self reliant, while also apparently being a communist.

Do i want people to be self reliant? Yes if they are doing it .
Do i want to deny the power of the internet? If it's badly used (Spending all day searching for a dopamine rush)

If you look at twitch or other platforms where you find e-girls. Take a look at where the viewers come from and you'll understand it's a 3rd world cesspool.

I'm not a communist.

I'm someone who want to see the people take over all the governments across the planet, remove working(Slavery) and only keep important jobs (Doctors, builders and so on). Destroy all the factories around the world that compete with each other and simply have factories that produce the utmost important tools society need.

Remove cars and turn it into underground public transport.

Teach people how to be self sufficient (Growing crops, diets, exercise, helping each others........)

Half the population don't even know how to take care of themselves. Just look at the amount of people above their healthy weight or the amount of people who stinks.

I don't think i'm part of any specific groups (Communist.....Red.......Blue) i'm just someone with above average IQ and enough common sense to know what's wrong and what's needed to go in the right direction.

Sadly it's something i can't fix on my own and as long as people are willing to undervalue themselves by spending their whole lives working/doing meaningless things like watchin anime ... there's wont be any positive change for "the people".
