So there's all kinds of footage and pictures from the shelling of Belgorod today and it seems to be 100% random and indiscriminate, no attempt at all to strike any important targets. Random roadways, apartments, businesses, hospitals, parking lots. Plenty of damage and probably dead, but looks like its so poorly aimed at civilian areas the vast majority of strikes are just hitting empty lots, kind of like Hamas launching missiles indiscriminately at Israeli cities. Even in a dense urban area just hitting a random street or wall isn't actually going to kill people or cause serious damage on average, not unless you're full saturation firebombing like WW2. Its quite the contrast with Russia's use of FABs to tactically destroy one building or bunker at a time, or the Shaheds taking out utilities and infrastructure so methodically.
Can't link any compilations since at least a few of them actually had injuries or blood, but most of them just look like this, no humans in sight, no targets of value;

Its an absolute absurdity of 2024 that Joe Biden is being pressured by his base to cut off support for Israel on claims US weapons are being used against Gazan civilians when the uniparty is happy to keep sending weapons to Ukraine to.... what is being accomplished in this video? Shit its not even heinous to target an unoccupied parking lot next to a playground because I guarantee that shell was not aimed at all, just shot in the vague direction of the city.
Even more baffling since Ukraine is very low on ammo/shells, so why waste them trying to hit low value targets? I get Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries, airfields, ships in the port of Sevastopol, but not this.
Just for the record though: Russia has shelled civilian targets quite a lot as well. They only became more surgical in recent weeks once the Ukrainian air defense began to slip, so that they could go straight for the high-value targets.
