You were the first to post in this topic after the OP's posts and clearly you supported the idea that Ukraine was going to retake Crimea like so many others here that will now say they never thought that was going to happen

Sorry champ

"Startup in Russian: the mother of a Russian soldier killed in the war in Ukraine spent the bereavement payments on the purchase of an apartment, but there was not enough to repair the old house in the village, so she sent her second son to the war, too.

Zhanna Polupanova is the mother of the terminated occupier. She has already received all the payments for her dead son: she bought herself a brand new apartment for the bereavement payments. Now, she also wants her country house repaired.

So the mother is soon sending her youngest son to war, too."

Absolutely I am. I just figured you had more ammunition that this post, considering how cocksure you were.

So to explain, you consider this

"There are reports of Russian civilians evacuating Crimea. Also reports of UAF retreating from Adkivka near Donetsk.
Ukrainians trained on western tanks/combat are returning to Ukraine in the coming weeks. At the same time Russian mobilized half a million men to hold the line.

I guess if Russia is throwing WW2 era tanks up against Challengers and Abrams then 500k infantry might be need to absorb some ammunition."

Equates to this -

"clearly you supported the idea that Ukraine was going to retake Crimea"

It's a yes or a no type of question.

Thoughts on long range ATACMS and their possible effect on the war?

How far is the Kursk bridge from the front?

I one would bother to flick through your posts they'd find tons of similar posts drooling over the long awaited and hyped Ukrainian counteroffensive where the clearly stated goal was to push all the way to the sea of Azov and retake Crimea.

No one bothers to talk about it anymore and for this reason --> the NATO trained / NATO equipped elite Ukrainian brigades were defeated. That's how you call this in military terms. Defeated by WW2 era tanks and unmotivated / untrained / poorly led shovel wielding recruits.

Hilarious

Ah a new wonder weapon? Game changer? After all the other "game changers"?

How many Iskanders and FABs are raining down on Ukraine? You'd need at least as many to equal that and a bunch more to gain an advantage.

Thoughts?

Quote me where I said Ukraine would re-take Crimea. I'll wait.
If you dig far enough you find where I told Ferdia he was wrong to assume Ukraine would re-take Crimea ;)

How long did you think the war would last again? Was it 3 months?

You only need on ATACM to drop the Kursk bridge ;)

All this advantage of scale in the war and since 2023 Russia have taken 3 villages? At great cost.

Your post in the topic I linked above is crystal clear, you expected Ukraine's NATO trained NATO equipped brigades to crush Russia's WW2 era tanks lol.

At the start of the conflict everyone expected Ukraine would collapse and only because of Western aid they're still hanging on. By a thread BTW

Everyone understands Ukraine is on life support if you don't understand that I can't help you

They already had those missiles. Crimea bridge no longer interesting because of the railway so now the Kursk bridge is the target that will make Russia give up or what's the idea here?

Three villages? Did Dennys Davidov tells you that?
