Most models, celebrities, etc. are Democrats. Looks are the number 1 indicator (though that doesn't mean it's 100%) for political belief.

Your side doesn't even believe in pollution so don't pretend to care about "the ocean."

Here's some pragmatism for you: my side has been able to enforce its will and your side has been powerless to stop it.

Most of the things I listed dont work with social distancing requirements in place. Schools definitely dont, but neither do most forms of leisure, hospitality, culture or most amateur sports.
Like... sure, you can reopen a theater and run it with 20% capacity to comply with the distancing orders, but there's no way for this to be economically viable. Dito for gyms, many forms of tourism and so on.

I find that incredibly hard to believe but I think European leisure is different than American leisure. Hostels aren't really a thing here and hotels/spas are designed to keep people further apart than hostels.

Schools have quite a bit of social distancing already because you need to prevent kids from giving out handjobs in the middle of class.

Also, organized amateur sports, particularly team sports, are just far bigger in Europe than in the States. In Germany alone, there are over 16k soccer clubs (and over 200k teams) which are all wanting to play an 11v11 game every weekend during the season. There's also stuff like table tennis (indoors), gymnastics (requires safeguarding on the amateur level, which isnt compatible with distancing requirements), bobsleigh, various martial arts classes and many more.
