What will you choose: a pedophile priest, a KGB priest or a combo-wombo? :)

In a totally non-biased, not propaganda piece by our homeboy David axe, we can now realize that If Ukraine can last one more year without aa defense, Russia will run out of weapons....again:

The Clock Is Ticking: Russia Has A One-Year Reserve Of Weapons

First: Russia is fully mobilized—politically, industrially and militarily. But this mobilization is depleting resources the Kremlin can’t renew. Most importantly, stocks of old Cold War-vintage weapons.
In other words, Russia is strong, but fragile.

Ukrainian tactics are superior to Russian tactics, helping Ukrainian formations to defeat much larger Russian formations.
The Ukrainians defeat most Russian attacks, inflicting catastrophic casualties on increasingly under-equipped Russian assault groups.

But these unprepared new recruits don’t survive very long on the front line. Lately, between 800 and a thousand Russians have been dying every day in the wider war, according to the Ukrainian defense ministry.

Is there still a war going on? Barely hear the propaganda anymore. When propaganda silenced that mean US/West acknowledged defeat?

Eh, the Russian war machine surely did rely heavily on old soviet-era stocks, particularly when it comes to their artillery, and yes, this well will eventually run dry. But they won't need to rely on waging a crawling artillery war anymore as long as they continue to be able to pummel Ukraine's infrastructure with missile and drone strikes, a capacity which is mostly based on Iranian drone supplies and ongoing manufacturing of guided missiles.

My verdict on the article: not as outlandish as it seems at first glance, but still a massive cope.

What kind of "deal" would they get from Putin at this point? Putin will more or less go "unconditional surrender or gtfo".

“Political barometer” in Germany Approval of military support for Ukraine is increasing
More and more Germans are in favor of providing Ukraine with more military support. This was the result of a survey by the “Politbarometer”. But there is also growing skepticism as to whether Ukraine can still win the war against Russia.

published on Friday, 42 percent are in favor of greater military aid from the West. In February it was 33 percent. According to the current survey, 31 percent want the current level to remain the same, while 22 percent want the West to provide less military support to Ukraine.

"Peace" ? Are you THIS naive ? Hopefully you can trust Putin's regime for this: waiting for "peace" until the Ruszzan flag and Putin's picture are in your children's classroom LOL.

Thus we have the same problem in France: people don't want to hear about it, even deny. Russian propagandists are like old drugs addicts: they want you to get the same shit they have.

So one of the things that western sanctions actually achieved was hampering certain military technologies that Russia used to import. The most infamous of these were semiconductors but there were many more; cnc machines, high quality ball bearings, image processing and analytical components, fcs systems fir tanks, optics/thermals for all armor, transistors, DC converters etc.

Initially Russia was buying these critical western made pieces from 3rd parties, effectively bypassing the sanctions, but it was still not enough to make up for the shortfall of the high quality western versions. This is why Russia deployed its old soviet stockpiles; it had to play catch-up, while trying to source an ever increasing demand for these products.

Now it looks like western sanctions have backfired and Russia is able to produce what it needs domestically, while relying on China as a guaranteed trading partner:

Officials said that Russia uses machine tool shipments from China to bolster its production of ballistic missiles, and that Chinese microelectronics are used in the production of Russian missiles, tanks, and aircraft. The officials said that 90% of Russia's microelectronics imports in 2023 came from China.

Chinese businesses such as iRay Technology and the North China Research Institute of Electro-Optics also supply Russia with military optics for tanks and armored vehicles, they said.

Along with these supplies, Chinese businesses may also be furnishing Russia with nitrocellulose, used to make propellants for weapons. The officials also told reporters that U.S. intelligence indicates that China is illegally providing satellite imagery to Russia for use in Ukraine.
Our view is that one of the most game-changing moves available to us at this time to support Ukraine is to persuade the PRC (People's Republic of China) to stop illegally helping Russia reconstitute its military industrial base," one official said.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning responded to Western criticism in a press conference on April 10, saying the partnership between Beijing and Moscow constituted normal cooperation. "China will not accept the accusations and pressuring," Mao said.
