Sounds like massive grasping at straws to be honest. Spinning one single missile malfunction into "see, the sanctions are working" and "Russia's attacking capacities are about to collapse" is a gigantic stretch.

OK lads, what weapon systems does Ukraine need to make counteroffensive volume 2 work? I think its safe to say that f15/16s and some pretty nifty missles will help but they're gona need a hell of a lot more ifvs/mbts if Zelenskys serious about this ( I dunno why they're telling everyone, who needs the element of surprise I guess)

Without significantly more western weapons, Ukraine will be lucky to hold on to the territory they currently control. After Russia had this much time to dig in and fortify its positions, had this much time to ramp up its military production, I don't see a counteroffensive succeeding. For a successful counteroffensive, they'd need some 100-150k fresh troops plus a three digit number of Western jets and a four digit number of armoured vehicles.

They just got a bunch of AK's and RPGs, if the west can supply some black masks and a few Qurans there's a good chance they take back all of Ukraine, no modern military stands a chance against the will of Allah

I really can’t believe they posted about delivering AKs. Here’s Russia launching cruise missiles and glide bombs on a daily basis and they really post about delivering AKs?I mean it’d be hilarious if it wasn’t so sad and an indication of how the war is going for Ukraine right now.

There was a video from Chasiv Yar a couple days ago with Russian planes flying right over the front lines. It begs the question of whether UA anti-air is actually still functional because they were exposing themselves without being shot down.

The stuff being sent now seems so random and patchwork, the logistics of maintaining everything and supplying troops must be a nightmare

Between Russians taking some of these systems out and the daily launches all across Ukraine, they’ve probably exhausted AA munitions, especially for US/western systems. Or Ukrainians are saving because they know there’s a limited supply to be expected. I also wonder how much of an impact the Middle East is having. US ME bases and Israel ranks much higher and if I had to guess that’s where most of the supply of Patriot missiles are being sent.
