When it comes to developing advanced weaponry it's usually the United States and Israel working in tandem. As you are aware Israel has one of the best "intelligence networks" and can infiltrate countries and cause damage without "bullets/bombs/tanks/aircraft/naval vessels". That's where the United States comes in and supplies the HARD assets which is why Israel although a small country is a formidable and powerful foe to "mess with".
Israel is using a mere fraction of it's military might and it doesn't have to go "full force" because their enemy(Hamas) is hiding in tunnels beneath civilian infrastructure.
Now let's say Iran launches an attack on Israel(not by proxies). OK. Now you have an enemy who can cause destruction to your nation 100x easier then Gaza so what would Israel do? Use the weapons it's kept hidden that do 100x the damage/destruction.
But let's take that a step further. Iran attacks Israel. Here comes the United States military to absolutely eviscerate Iran. Iran's military KNOWS this. That's why they use proxies because a direct strike by Iran on Tel-Aviv would mean Iran's entire country would be "turned to glass" like many have stated over and over in this thread.
All the people saying "Hamas is winning". That's exactly what Israel and the US wants you to think.
The United States used 9/11 to literally blow countries in the Middle East to rubbles and ash. Steal oil and opium by seizing oil fields/opium fields. They didn't kill many terrorist but they said that's why they were there. Crippled nations and all their infrastructure so that the people in these countries would become more radicalized and sow more chaos in the region. This is why when George Bush said after 9/11 you are either with us or you are with the terrorist that meant a NEVER ENDING WAR. You cannot get rid of all terrorist it's a war on terror and terror is a concept/word not an actual entity.
People will always say the United States lost the war in the ME. No. We went there and accomplished every goal EXCEPT toppling Iran but we are in the process of doing that too.
Israel uses the same play book as the United States the difference being on 10/7 everyone knew who did it and they said they did it. After 9/11 the average US citizen had no fucking clue who did it and the government told everyone hey these guys did it we are now going to war with them. Israel has a reason to be in Gaza. The United States had no business being in the ME. We went there anyway and for none of the reasons they told the public we were there. "Getting the terrorist".
I have two friends who did multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and both said aside from "small terrorist groups" they were literally just guarding oil/opium fields and building big ass bases. They would hang out with the locals and not even FEEL like those locals were "terrorist". Drinking tea. Playing soccer with kids. Both went there thinking it was going to be 24/7 gun fights with terrorist. In reality it was the complete opposite. That's not to say they didn't encounter terrorist but most the time it was just "patrolling around the base". Special operations units went in and killed the actual terrorist or they were bombed to "kingdom come". The average American troop was working a 12 hour shift everyday doing NOTHING. My friend mentioned how for weeks everyday all day they would fill "bags of sand" to fortfiy their base. Unless you were there you wouldn't know.
