Wrong.
Flynn was already under investigation for not disclosing his consulting work for Turkey, for not obtaining permission from the State department for accepting money from Russia Today, for accepting money from Kremlin linked companies, etc. etc. (/e FARA violations that IceMage mentioned). There is very little doubt that Flynn committed a myriad of crimes leading up to his position as National Security Advisor.
He may only be charged now for lieing to the FBI, but there's very little doubt he was hiding his financial links to other countries we have opposition to while lobbying on their behalf, with even some of his colleagues being convicted on similar grounds. This was the reason he was being investigated (being a potential foreign agent without disclosing his ties to foreign governments) before the Trump Russia stuff ever became a story. Similarly, he had lied to Mike Pence before this about his conversations with Russia and Pence said that publicly, so the Russian agents he had been having conversations with knew he had lied to Pence and therefore had dirt on the National Security Director. It doesn't take a genius to see that Russia having dirt on the National Security Advisor is a BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD thing and is worthy of investigation.
This is why I have no respect for you or Goom. This stuff is right out in the open and clearly necessitates an investigation into Flynn, yet you pretend he did nothing wrong and got trapped by the FBI into lieing. You guys are either willfully ignorant, or just liars. I know Goom is a liar because this stuff has been spelled out for him multiple times.

Flynn committed multiple false statement crimes and would've been prosecuted under FARA had he not cut a deal. He got paid by Turkish interests during the campaign and transition. That's supposed to be the America First champion that MAGA cucks worship.... lmao.
FARA violations have traditionally resulted in fines. It's a complete non sequitur to what we're discussing.
Your argument has to take some form of the line "Obama ordered the FBI to "look into" and "get the right people on" an innocuous call with a Russian official because Flynn had not properly disclosed Turkish lobbying." It doesn't hold up to even basic scrutiny.
The argument that Russia had dirt on Flynn doesn't pass muster. Foreign policy deliberations are concealed from the general public all the time. The logical assumption by Russia would be that Flynn was covering up for the administration.

It's not normal or acceptable for a transition official to meddle in foreign policy decisions, or make specific asks of a major adversary in order to undermine the current administration's policy. Just because you don't like Democrats doesn't mean you get to ignore precedence and norms.
If no one was actually concerned with Flynn's ties to Russia and the conversations with the ambassador it seems weird that Obama would ask multiple times whether his team should withhold sharing information with Flynn.
All you have to do is dispassionately look at the facts. Trump cultists have thought that Obama and his administration framed the Trump team since 2016/2017, so you guys have ignored any information that incriminated Trump's team and solely focused on legitimately suspicious evidence of wrongdoing(Strzok/Page texts being one example) and other not-so-legitimate manufactured or misleading evidence.
"Flynn - Kislyak calls but appears legit".
There is nothing in the call that was inappropriate. You are arguing that "please, don't escalate" represents some unspeakable breach of norms. The fact that Trump would be taking a different tact with Russia was well known and had been beaten to death on the campaign trail.
