It is in Ukraine and Russia's interests not to state the true number of dead on each side in this conflict as this could demoralize the respective forces involved in this conflict. The casualties on both sides would be clearly higher then what is quoted.

The official number quoted by Zelensky is 31,000. I have not seen an official estimate on the Russia side.

You completely understand that I refuse to accept laughable casualty numbers presented by Zelensky.

Stop playing childish games man

The conversation we had last year was 100,000 casualties, both sides, which was the US view at the time. thats basically 30K dead each side with 70K injured. that was over a year ago, so its probably at least double that, on each side.

Officially, Santa is also real and so is the tooth fairy. The true cost of the war is likely to be known in 25-50 years time.

Djunior just agree with him, it is a language exercise, the statement "The only official numbers of dead (ukrainian) soldiers come from Ukraine"? is a factual, true statement. its not the numbers which is true, its that its "official". its a word game.

Political bodies can officially make statements, but that does not mean that the statements are true.
