Fighting a conventional war, state army vs state army, is very different from fighting domestic or international terrorists. But yeah, Macron is a clown. At this point, I'd be surprised if there ISN'T an islamist attack during the Olympic Games in Paris this summer.


having your own house in order is usually considered essential to be able to fight a conventional war

thats why the moscow attack is so terrible for putin, until now he was successful at keeping the war etc away from the large cities

the olympics will turn paris into a dystopian police state for the time being, police and military everywhere, drones, surveillance cameras, visitors strip searched

all the good stuff, lets see if they can prevent an attack

oh and dont forget the euros in germany ^_^

will be interesting to see that as well, but so far i still hold the opinion that germany is considered a safe space for islamists, they dont want to do too much there

Russia did the ol' Kansas city shuffle:

Faked out a bombing campaign and then launched a bunch of hypersonic zircons from Crimea, successfully hitting a sbu hq in Kiev. Apparently alot of high ranking officials got rest.

Why would Kiev Post admit this happened? This goes against the common narrative that “Russians are only bombing civilians”.

I checked the source you posted including some others and couldn't find any indication that an SBU building was hit.

I see your point and understand it.

My point was that “declaring to be at war” has legal implications.

Remarking that “we are de-facto at war” is something else - in my opinion.

Having said that - if Putin wants to declare a formal war - he can and I doubt that he will be stopped.

Its not that they are only bombing civilians. Its that they are clearly, regularly and deliberately bombing civilians.

Good attempt at gaslighting though.
