US gains nothing from this, but my view is inaction can be a form of participation.

When Russia knew about the bostom bombers, if they didn´t report it to the US i would have considered them a participant as well.

Are kids in here actually claiming Putin re coronation was even close to something resembling an election?

Could say FSB doing a deal with ISIS, promising more weapons in exchange for a false flag attack to help in justifying some extra mobilization.

The election was probably for the most part legit. But how legit is an election if media & institutions are owned/biased/under the control of the political entity?

Look at iraq, the elections are 100% legit, even in KRG. But looking at elections alone, is a pointless concept.
