We can evaluate the legitimacy of pardons on a case by case basis. Notice Obama's AG didn't tarnish the reputation of the department and the administration of justice by throwing the case.


Look at the date of the concerned phone call that Flynn plead guilty to (Illegally leaked to the washington post). December 29th. That is what the FBI used to charge Flynn with lying. Look at the documents. Not a single unmasking for that date. How did the FBI know and use that transcript to charge Flynn with perjury on a non material phone call? The FBI cant produce the transcript. How did they know that was Flynn (legally)? Noone seems to answer that question. Interestingly they ramped up unmaskings 300% once Trump took office. Times running out. The Truth will come out.

The only ways to spy on American citizens.

A. They had a criminal warrant (legal if appropriate applied for)
B. They had a Fisa warrant (legal if appropriately applied for)
C. Received the transcript from a foreign ally. (Collusion with a foreign power to take down a 3 star general certainly not the British /s)

The FBI probably had a FISA warrant on the Russian ambassador's communications and unmasked the transcript to understand the call. The unmasking list produced by political hack Grenell was an NSA list, not FBI.

Of course the government has the call transcripts. I'd love to see them get released.

If that was the case, he had to be named Citizen 1 (michael flynn). His name cannot be revealed in an NSA intercept. No unmasking requests on that call. There is no way getting out of this. The Obama Administration is tarnished for history.

I already answered that question. A FISA warrant on the Russian ambassador. NSA isn't the only intelligence agency that processes unmasking requests.
