Yes yes, all of the western countries are in a big conspiracy against poor Russia. Just like usual, you guys have uncovered the conspiracy of the century, it can't just be that Putin invaded Ukraine because he thinks he has a historical claim to it (which he himself admits, but you think you know Putins reasons better than Putin, which is hilarious).

Russia negotiated that they wanted part of a sovereign country, the sovereign country decided to instead not let Russia treat them like post-colonial subjects and fought back. You act like it's unheard of that countries have treaties that say they will not surrender. It is in fact insanely common, Sweden for instance is explicit that there will never be surrender, regardless of the casualties from an invasion by anyone.

A ) Give me the hallway and hope the insane person who just kicked in your door wont take more of your appartment or

not expecting any offensive this year from Ukraine, other then long range. they dont have the men. What I am seeing is calls for western europe to move to a war footing, send more weapons and prepare for war.

Ukraine has the right to defense, asking for a part of a sovereign nation is usually not considered reasonable negotiation, it is not uncommon for countries to have "no surrender" policys and you appear to believe Putins reasons to invade are other than the ones he has explicitly given.
