i am not overly enthusiastic about biden and definitely think he needs to retire, he does not represent the future and neither does trump. both are old in their thinking. the difference is biden actually has evolved and surrounds himself with people who challenge him to see differently. trump does not.

feds should be out of educational content but thats not what i am talking about at all. nice deflect.

I was told in 2012 that income tax is the only important one because that's what Republicans focused on to say that 47% of people don't pay taxes.

Romney's 47 percenter statement didnt just refer to income taxes. The gist of it was that around half of Americans are dependent on the government for their livelihood, one way or the other. For example because they depend on food stamps, or because they're employed by the state, or because they work for companies which depend entirely on government contracts, etc.
