The minis produced in the last few decades, not the originals, are just BMWs in a different shape. Or the same shape, if you count the x1 lmao
I'm sure there are purists who complain but they can always go drive a golf cart, I think its more obvious if you look at the engine. I get ornery about ford making spark plugs slightly less accessible, a mini probably wants you to pop off 5 panels and remove the engine and put it back together again to plug a phone charger into the cigarette lighter
