pre invasion what like 14,000 killed in Donbas. And we can call those you say killed human shields ? not targeted just being used to sacrifice if Russia attacks military targets next to them.. Definitely not insignificant. Also a howitzer is a glorified cannon where the concept hasn't really changed for hundreds of years. Several armies still use m114a1.
