You do realized the Rape and Murder of Civilians part happens too often and that is a serious serious Issue which honestly there must be some sort justice served.
Through the the past 80 to 90 years from WW2 up till now.
I think a lot of these cases are not adequately look into.

Russian Rape and murder of civilians in the current war
Soviet Rape and Murder of Polish civilians at the end of world war 2
American rape and murder of their french allied civilians at the end of world war 2
American Rape and murder of their Allied Koreans during the Korean war
American Rape and Murder of Japanese women in Okinawa right after they won in WW2
The rape and murder of the entire East Asia by the Japanese Army during WW2 ( This have not been rectified till now)
Vietnam
Yugoslavia / Serbia

List goes on and on.

I wish for humanity sake all these atrocities must not only be condemn but the perpetrators need to be brought to Justice.
Alas, the government of the countries that win will always protect these individuals. And even if a tribunal is setup they will have an internal tribunal and most of the time not a independent tribunal.
And more often than not , these said individual will be sentenced and after a set amount of time, released because " not enough evidence" after a number of appeals.

And for the victorious country, these guys will be honoured in the end as heros who protected their countries.

That's correct, I'm all for freedom of speech and human rights. However history has shown us that regime changes / nation building don't really work, I mean it didn't work in Vietnam / Iraq / Afghanistan and those nations were nothing compared to Russia (6K nukes, stressing this again).

e: The Russians don't trust us and we don't trust the Russians. It's unfortunate.
