So Russia can't control its border with Ukraine, two years into a war?

Protecting every inch of their 10 gazillion miles of land border, almost all of it in flat terrain without natural obstacles, from any kind of hostile incursions... that's just not a realistic standard. The true question is if Russia can quickly push those incursions back, and if they are able to inflict serious damage in the meantime or not. So far, I haven't seen anything to suggest that these incursions are a genuine problem for Russia. Yes, it's a bad look, and the residents of the Russian border towns probably aren't too happy about it, but it won't accomplish anything in the grander scheme of things.

It's not a yes or no question. It was your explanation for Russia invaded, are not able to explain why it is credible?

Why did "Russian/Ukrainian kinship" make Ukraine a red line for Putin?

I explained to you the historical context, you can read up on your own at length. Honestly, if you can't follow these simple things, I can't really help you mate.

I'm fully aware of the historical ties, no need to patronise. I'm asking you to explain how that is a credible justification to invade Ukraine?
For the third time now I've asked but you've completely ignored it and chosen to attack me instead for creating a discussion.

I've given my position in depth as to why the historical similarities of Ukrainians and Russians was a factor in Putins decision to invade, and to prevent Ukraine moving in a westward trajectory.

Your use of the word kindship is extremely out place, as if murdering half a million Ukrainians and annexing 19% of their country is somehow an act of kinship.
Unless that is you can better explain in what way you mean kinship was a factor?
Thats the fourth time of asking.

The Russian red cross has close links to the Kremlin’s war and propaganda machine.
They directly involved in military training for children.
The Kremlin plans to replace international Red Cross with a puppet organization.

children’s camp in Crimea that has been hit with sanctions by western countries for its involvement in the “patriotic re-education” of abducted Ukrainian children. The US state department has claimed that some children sent there are “prevented from returning to their families”.

Last year the IFRC suspended the Belarus Red Cross after its president, Dzmitry Shautsou, boasted that the organisation had helped to deport Ukrainian children to Belaru

you have repeatedly been given an answer to this question by multiple users. you just dont accept the answer. its not for us to make you accept the answer, its for you to make up your own mind and agree, or not, with the answer given.
we are not saying the answer is binary, but its an answer. i.e. not a right or wrong answer, but an answer.

I'm sure ofthevoid can explain his position himself, if he chooses to do so; You would not clarify your own position so I doubt you can explain his also.

Your both dodging expanding on what are broadly inaccurate views.

Its understandable

Imagine being asked to clarify a position on a political and religious discussion board, and then trolling the person that asked you.

Thats a position of weakness.
