And who is paying for all of this? Do you realize that government printing dollars to pay these corporations impacts future growth, inflation? Our debt servicing is already on par with our military spending and growing rapidly. I don’t think you understand what happens next. 4 million jobs is going to be irrelevant when we have to issue more and more debt just to cover just the interest due.

Figures for debt interest being on par with military spending?

The US economy is strong. Inflation is falling. Interest rates are likely to be cut this year.

And realise the majority of what your describing as handouts fall under lend lease style repayments, with interest.

4 million.

That's relevant

From the point of view of "Does this benefit Americans or hurt them in aggregate", it's not.

There is a very good argument to be made for maintaining a substantial military industrial base, but economic stimulus isn't it. If anything, it's a political risk insofar as it creates perverse incentives between politicians and military spending for votes.

Timelines are all speculation but i think 2026-2030 is when the conflict ends (frozen?)

Good will triumph over evil. It will bring it to its knees and brutally kill.

I wonder if rage against the machine holds concerts in support of the military industrialist complex these days

You tell 4 million people America will be better off if they are now unemployed.

Let me know how irrelevant that experience is for you.

Once the Ukraine war wraps up, where do you think we should provoke war next so we can keep them employed? We could arm both the Armenians and the Azerbaijanis and let them kill each other. Have Joe give Xi the green light to invade Taiwan like he gave to Putin in Ukraine
