My kneejerk response to this is.... so what? First, Flynn's name being unmasked wasn't wrong. Second, why would disseminating that information to relevant government actors be wrong?

If Flynn was trying to run his own diplomacy with the Russians, the Obama administration had the right and obligation to know. Where is the scandal here?

Also, why is the acting DNI declassifying these documents? If he thinks there was criminal wrongdoing, he can simply give the information to DOJ. Declassifying isn't necessary.

The answer, of course, is he's just a political hack, using his serious position to do Trump's bidding. The amount of shameless corruption by this administration is unbelievable. It's so normalized that this won't even get covered for more than a day.
