For a conservative, this choice is only in doubt if he has to fear that the flawed candidate's lack of competence or leadership might harm things that are important. Which is exactly why I consider the coronavirus crisis so dangerous for Trump: corona shows those reluctant Trump voters that, to quote Obama, "government matters - good government matters".
