To be fair though, as soon as Trump found out that wars generally get presidents reelected it was pretty much guaranteed he'd start one somewhere. Why not NK? They're only a couple of years from mounting a nuke on an ICBM. Seems like the time to do it if it's ever going to be done.

Yeah, the only problem is that is should be getting more difficult to justify starting a war than it was pre Bush.. The cult is strong though. A significant part of the population prefers to not be informed by actual news.

And apart from that: Pro war propaganda still seems to be institutionalized in the US.
