a publisher deciding to withdraw a couple of books containing blatantly racist stereotypes:
"the world is going to end over this, let's talk about it for weeks!"a republican mob, encouraged by a sitting president,
violently and illegally storming the capitol, trying to overturn a democratic election and abduct / kill elected officials: "hardly anyone died, this is not a big deal - just move on."

This partisan circus is a total waste of time. No new info or insights will come from this, just Pelosi's preferred spin on Jan 6.
Investigating the events of that day and prosecuting the perpetrators is a job for the FBI and the DOJ, not Congress.
A sincere bipartisan effort by Congress could have been helpful, but that ship sailed when Pelosi specifically selected the two most staunchly anti-Trump Republicans for the committee while blocking the pro-Trump people.
She made it abundantly clear that she only seeks the veneer of bipartisanship, but isn't actually interested in giving the other side's perspective any room.
we're having a bit of a selective memory there, huh? that ship sailed when republicans simply refused to have such an investigation, lol. trying to spin this into "something something nancy fucking pelosi" is so desperate, lol. also, which republican would you have chosen? one of those that agree the election needed to be overturned? those that openly sympathised with the insurrectionists and terrorists? you're such a hack...
