I said seriously hurt. There were possibly tens of thousands of people all jammed and pushing. It would be a miracle if no cop was hurt considering the size of crowd. Calling this an insurrections is a pretty big joke.

You guys actually have a lot more in common with those simps that did this, because it seems like you're actually serious in thinking they could of accomplished anything more than waste their time by going into a building and posting for pics.

So what should happen to the people who broke down doors?
Or the ones who assault police officers?
Or the ones who accessed the offices of senators and other congressional staffers?

IMO the punishments need to range from zero, for the people who never even went onto capital grounds, to a few months for the people who trespassed, to 10+ years for the people who illegally accessed office space and other areas containing sensitive materials, to straight up treason for the people who actively broke down doors and assaulted officers.

It is ironic to hear you condemn anything as violent and illegal, as you've spent the better part of the last ~18 months excusing violent and illegal riots, up to and including bombing federal buildings. By your standards, this is a "mostly peaceful" protest, one in which only a fraction are even being accused of any sort of violent crime.

Please cite the court documents alleging attempted kidnapping and murder. This should be relatively easy for you to find.

Honestly, if there was actual evidence that the election was stolen and there is a mass conspiracy to overturn the government against the will of the people, I wouldn't condemn what happened at the capitol.

The biggest issue here is that they were rioting and attempting to disrupt the election because of a total fabrication that the president presented and pushed. That's the real danger to Democracy. That our president was the inciting incident because he lost.

BLM people are "mostly peaceful" because a cop shoots an unarmed man, they break a few windows, and loot stores that lose no money as their stuff is insured. (not counting far more violent riots like MN-St Paul where large business districts were damaged)
