to my mind if you cluster bomb a minority in your own country after a foreign government replaced your lawfully elected democratic government it would not surprise me if another government interfered. again, pretty similar to Israel carpet bombing their minority.

Lviv Opera did a foreign tour to Finland in support of Ukraine
At the end of the tour, three of the leading Ukrainian ballet dancers (2 male, 1 female) defected to the west instead of returning to Ukraine and risk being drafted or conquered.

a couple weeks ago Finland's tourism board was tweeting about the upcoming performances and heralding the ballet leads

It was two years ago Montreal canceled child prodigy Alexander Malofeev's performance simply because he's ethnic Russian in a case of blatant discrimination, despite his public opposition to the war. Now two years later leading Ukrainian performers are seeking asylum in the west as their country is losing. What a juxtaposition.
