Russian forces are regrouping in the Donbass area for a big battle, i either didn't check for details so maybe they only have to keep their position, or maybe they have to do more actions in the Donbass itself. No idea.
9th april they just finished to celebrate their victory over nazis ww2 today. Btw they raped alot of German women in Berlin, hundred(s) of thousands or so. It goes beyond any other event. Even the local pro-putin dumbfucks will not be able to find things like that in their small history pockets of the "what about".
Let's hope whole Russian army will be neutralized for ever at some point. Maybe Drones will be the key event. Many experts are talking about that.
In the same time it's interesting to consider that Russia MAY not be able to produce more drones in the next months considering sanctions not allowing them to get some essential technological parts required to build these robots.

This logic is bad because giving in to bullies makes them bully you even more. You are just saying "if we sacrifice Ukraine's freedom we don't have to deal with that guy becoming more erratic". Problem is we tried appeasement in the exact situation and it backfired terribly.

NATO exists to protect its members from Russian invasion. Russia invading Ukraine because they suspect they were going to join NATO showed that 100% Russia shouldn't have been trusted in the first place and this was their plan all along.

This is the fault of the West for letting Russia attack Ukraine and occupy Crimea. We resorted to appeasement then and it escalated into more landgrabs and people being butchered.

Your logic means more people lose freedom and die. Appeasement is cowardly and leads to more death.

anyway, after all those pages you still have no clue how nato works, lol. how embarrassing for you. countries apply to join nato, and they have to fulfil certain criteria to be accepted (like the population of said country has to be in favour of joining) - nato isn't just going around recruiting countries just to mess with russia, lol. nato is a military pact, not an economic union, it doesn't "gain" anything from expanding, and it sure as hell isn't and was never preparing an invasion of the country with the largest nuclear arsenal on the planet, so none of those silly talking points even begin to make sense.

you know what ACTUALLY would have prevented this war? ukraine already being a nato member. that's the whole point here, and you still haven't gotten it. russia's aggression and repeated invasions are PUSHING its surrounding nations to seek nato membership, not the other way around.

What mattered was the geopolitical dynamics. Pushing the western sphere of influence and creeping NATO onto Russia's doorstep guaranteed a reaction. Our unwillingness to stake a military defense of Ukraine coupled with the aggressive overthrow of the Ukrainian government set in motion this war and the deaths of so many Ukrainians. Now we're propping up a resistance like in Syria to make the conflict as bloody as possible, the worst outcome for the Ukrainians. If we were going to both expand our influence into Ukraine and defend it, or if Ukraine was continuously within Russia's sway or returned there without a fight, the war would be avoided. Like we saw in Syria and all the other conflicts, all the dead, wounded and displaced will almost certainly be in vain, an avoidable humanitarian disaster that served no consequence as the outcome is inevitable. How many people died to inconvenience Assad for a few years? Propped up by Americans giving moralizing lectures about freedom and democracy in the mideast as we supplied TOW missiles to Al Qaeda and ISIS, setting the seeds for further conflict and terrorism down the line. Here we are, having found what I think may be the only standing Nazi army in the world and we're arming it to fight a futile conflict we aren't willing to fight ourselves.
