context: Cork is a city in the south of ireland. City is a loose term. it has less then 125000 people. Yes, they are getting Ukrainian refugees, but its 100's not 1000's. The term overwhelmed is overused in this context. Cork is not overwhelmed with either Russian speaking people or Ukrainians, and neither is Ireland.

Ireland has alot of English people and alot of Polish people (and well, irish people).

Only because Trump was following beneficial to Putin policies like pursuing the exit of the US to NATO, which is worth waiting for. Trump didn't do anything about the bounties for American soldiers that Russia was paying out. Trump gave all American infrastructure in Syria to Putin. Trump was impeached for denying military aid to Ukraine just a few years ago.

So to Putin it is worth waiting to see how far their asset got in giving him the Soviet Union territories back. He had a lot riding on Trump.

Imagine if Trump was successful in denying aid to Ukraine and exiting NATO? Are this point Poland is back on the menu, etc.

Now Russia is running out of friends. Its going to get harder for China to continue enabling them with all these war crimes being broadcast everywhere.

Also how much actual does Russia have? Their generals get paid in rubles and drive Ferrari's, because they sell their fuel. Now they're running out all over ukraine and the generals are looking nervous.

And if you don't think Trump is a Russian asset, then try to imagine how he would act any different if he was? He just asked Putin for help against the leader of the US again.

What are you rambling on about, Poland was never on the menu. They drew a line in the sand after all those countries (Poland, Hungary, Baltic states etc) had already become NATO members. They simply aint gonna accept Ukraine and Georgia becoming NATO members how come you still don't get it.

Ok so I just called my friend in Shanghai.

The situation is rather bad, this is what happened.

Not sure if you know, I am currently working in Hong Kong. About 2 months back Hong Kong have a huge outbreak of the Omicron Variant. I myself was infected but the symptoms were ridiculously mild I got well after 2 days. I had two shots of Biontech Pfizer.
So there was a flight from HK to Guangzhou. The Guangzhou authorities refused to accept the visitors unless they are non positive.

So the boys in Shanghai says, its fine you can come over to Shanghai first and we are more than capable of receiving you guys and we have ample facilities.
So the officials in Shanghai went around asking which hotel can accept a group of Hong Kong visitors for quarantine.

One muthafucking director from a chain of hotels says he can, so that group went to that hotel. BUT that hotel wasn't properly renovated and no filters etc etc. So the infected Hong Kong visitors spread the hotel staff and in turn hotel staff spread to everyone.
As Omicron is AIRBORNE things went downhill all the way for Shanghai.

As the Shanghainese are extremely paranoid the entire city went into lockdown.

1. Outskirts of Shanghai conditions are extremely terrible, no toilets etc etc like a jail
2. Inner city is much better of course
3. they are doing a 14 + 7 Quarantine.
4. It is extremely hard to get food and it is affecting the elderly as they are not good with using technology and yes there are people starving.
5. People are protesting.

The Shanghainese are now blaming Hong Kongers
