Almost all US citizen could have gotten their own Pentagon toilet seat lid.

Haha!

For real though they only agreed to consider foreign aid as a separate package to the border package? Is that right?

Didn't republicans want the border package included in the first place?

Isn't this republicans playing politics with border security now?

Democrats are trying so hard to pin the border problem on Republicans when it's utterly obvious it's their big man Biden at the root.

Except the border problem started under Trump, and Biden continued the majority of Trump's border policies, and they are basically giving Republicans everything they want on the border in exchange for foreign aid.

Right, but didn't republicans just refuse a huge border funding package? Is what I'm unsure about.

My dude your article is from one of the most prominent anti-immigration right-wing hack think tanks out there. Get your sources from something that isn't Fox in a better business suit.

As for the immigration bill, every Republican who isn't crazy is admitting that this is the most conservative immigration bill they've got in 50 years and they are screaming at the crazies to let it through.

IMO Your link does not support your position. The link merely highlights/purports/suggests that under Biden's leadership the existing border issue got worse. To link it back to the original topic, the border issue in the US is being used as an excuse by parties to de-fund loans to Ukraine (this is a very poor reason to defund Ukraine btw since these loans get repaid with interest, ergo, good for the US). The border issue pre-existed prior to Biden being made president. remember all the comments about Mexico paying for the wall under Trumps leadership?

The DHS gov memo linked on the first page issued day one of Biden administration literally calls for review of border policy and immediate suspension of removals. Guess you missed that?

I dont know what you are suggesting, it is easy to agree that Biden has made a terrible job of resolving the border issue, but it is not true to say that there was no border issue prior to Biden. you cant say Biden is the root cause, you can say he is doing a piss poor job of resolving it, again, in my opinion. Joe Biden is from an international standpoint the worst US leader in history. in terms of his domestic achievements, I cant think of any. not sure what his legacy is (other then wars and failed policies).
