Its funny several of my friends went on to become nurse practitioners, and it is hilarious how little training they get in actually assessment and diagnosis. I got into an argument with one person because i said a person has parkonsonian symptoms and she corrected me like "Parkinson's Diease you mean?" No, i mean parkinsonion symptoms , which are extrapyramidal side effects usually from antipsychotic medications that look a lot like Parkinson's but are less intense and have a completely different etiology than Parkinson's. "Well that isn't a thing". Ok bitch, just google it on your phone, I'll wait, then we can get back to problem solving.
