I view starvation as a quite advanced state of hunger, and aside from anorexia and bulimia, it's not really a problem in this country.

553k homeless on any given day in the US contradicts that view.

25k-35k per day in Canada, with 1/10 the population. And 30% of homeless Americans that experience it are in California, which is pretty nice weather, as opposed to the frozen north. None of which addresses starvation, which is essentially nonexistent.

I'm not pretending Canada doesn't also have a problem. I'm just stating America has a problem. I don't think it's a competition.
