It's almost like Trump is doing the country a favor. I think folks have forgotten what voting is all about. All of Congress and 90% of a State's officials are elected by popular vote.
People run around bitching about the electoral college...yet don't really care about the govt. officials they can vote into and out of office.

A helluva lot of people voted for a party in 2018, instead of the politician's character or platform.

Chances are that from a conservative pov, 4 years of "bad" policy and a lifetime of liberal judges still significantly outweigh bad leadership during a temporary crisis, which will be mitigated by other (more mature/professional) people in the administration and the states anyway.

It's not between a liberal and a conservative, it's between a liberal who is an adult, a conservative who is an adult, and a conservative who is a child. If you think Donald Trump was the only path to Victory that says a lot about the mindset of the average Republican voter.

I dont think that any other GOP candidate from the 2016 field could have defeated Hillary.

And I was talking about 2020 anyway, where the choice will be between Biden and Trump.
Kasich, Rubio, Haley or JEB! wont be on the ballot in November, that's a fact.
Conservative voters will have to choose between a senile, rambling cookie-cutter liberal who will appoint and enable lots of loony far-left figures like Beto; or a rambling jerk who implements lots of conservative policy and appoints cookie-cutter conservatives like Pence, Pompeo and Barr.
